  • Rok 2001

    Beginning of our business activity

    Spółka została powołana w 2001 roku. Strategicznym celem była wówczas realizacja inwestycji polegającej na budowie bazy przeładunkowej i składowej węgla, zapewniającej przyjmowanie dostaw tego surowca. Aby sprostać tym wymaganiom została podjęta decyzja o lokalizacji terminalna w miejscowości Chruściel gm. Płoskinia położonej w odległości około 13 km od granicznego przejścia kolejowego Mamonowo – Braniewo.

  • Rok 2003
    - 2009

    Terminal Chruściel completed – further development of the railway infrastructure

    Od 2003 roku na teren spółki Bartex mogły wjeżdżać pierwsze szerokotorowe pociągi, a kolejne lata współpracy z międzynarodowymi dostawcami węgla zaowocowały podpisaniem długoterminowych kontraktów na dostawy węgla.

  • Rok 2010

    Licensed rail carrier

    In order to ensure the integral service, since 2010 Bartex has a license for rail freight services. Thanks to our own engines and wagons we are more independent in the freight market. Every year we make new investments in our fleet.

  • Rok 2017

    500 000 tonnes of coal

    That year the company’s turnover exceeded 500 000 tonnes of coal. On the one hand, this success is a proof of the high quality of our products, on the other hand – it reflects the high level of trust among our business partners.

    Winner of Forbes awards

    First place in the contest “Forbes Diamonds” (“Diamenty Forbesa”) in the Warmian–Masurian Voivodeship

    Supporting intermodal transport

    We took measures to add intermodal transport to our range of services. Additional reloading rails and machines for fast reloading of the containers will let us offer this kind of goods transportation.

Consequent investment in the company’s development led to the current fleet size of 5 locomotives and 100 coal wagons. Complex infrastructure let us load and unload goods directly on the hard goods yards adjacent to the railways – this way we are able to store up to 150 000 tonnes of grainy material, including coal.

Customs warehouse, own loading unloading and transport equipment and high-performance coal screening machines let us optimise our own costs making our commercial offer particularly attractive. At the same time we are able to ensure the highest quality of our products and services.
